Nestle issues massive cookie dough recall, E.coli fears

Thursday, Nestlé was notified by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) of a possible link between reported illnesses caused by E.coli and the consumption of uncooked cookie dough. Nestlé immediately initiated a voluntary recall of refrigerated and frozen Nestlé Toll House cookie dough as a precautionary measure.
These products have been sold predominantly in the US, although small quantities are also exported to Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Bahrain and Singapore.
