KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 — National unity and foreign policy were the topics that dominated the discussion between Singapore's Minister Mentor and PAS leaders last night.
“We received an invitation from Lee Kuan Yew to meet and I responded positively. During the one-hour meeting we discussed mainly national unity issues and PAS's views in the context of a multiracial country,” PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang told reporters today after chairing a three-hour central working committee meeting.
Hadi said he was asked about the Islamist party's approach to foreign policy.
