KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 — The road to recovery from the global financial crisis will see an “inexorable shift” of economic activity to Asia but the US still holds the key, says Lee Kuan Yew.
The minister mentor of Singapore believes that the US will still be the top superpower for the next 80 years and although China continues its economic expansion, it knows it is in “no position to challenge American supremacy.”
