May 21 (Bloomberg) -- Temasek Holdings Pte spent $600 million to increase its stake in China Construction Bank Corp. after Bank of America Corp. reduced its investment in the lender, the Straits Times reported, citing unidentified people.
Temasek now owns 6.5 percent, or 14.3 billion shares, of China’s second-largest lender, the newspaper said.
The Singapore state-owned investment company declined to comment on the investment, the report said.
