Singapore to report final Q1 GDP data on May 21

SINGAPORE, May 14 (Reuters) - Singapore said on Thursday it will report final gross domestic product data for the first quarter at 0000 GMT (8 a.m. local time) on May 21.
According to advanced estimates, the city-state's economy contracted a record 11.5 percent in the first three months of 2009 from a year ago, prompting the central bank to loosen monetary policy by allowing a slight devaluation in the Singapore dollar.
