Singapore to Deploy Thermal Scanning at Land Checkpoints

Thermal scanning will be rolled out at the land checkpoints on May 3, the Singapore government said on Saturday.
Thermal scanning has been deployed at Singapore's airports and sea checkpoints since the A/H1N1 flu outbreak.
According to official statistics, as of Saturday, there are no H1N1 cases in Singapore. Of the 25 cases referred to investigation thus far, 22 cases have tested negative for Influenza A, and 3 cases tested positive for the usual circulating seasonal strains of flu.
