Singapore Imposes Flu Quarantine After Hong Kong Isolates Hotel

May 3 (Bloomberg) -- Singapore said it will quarantine travelers who were in Mexico in the past seven days for one week after Hong Kong isolated a hotel where a guest became ill with swine flu.
Hong Kong, where 299 people died during the 2003 SARS epidemic, pledged to step up measures to contain swine flu. Singapore’s order will take effect May 4, the city’s Ministry of Health said in an e-mailed statement yesterday.
