SINGAPORE, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Singapore needs to adopt collective and cooperative approach from regional or international stakeholders to meet maritime security challenges, a government official said here on Wednesday.
"The international community clearly recognizes the importance of maintaining uninterrupted and safe passage through sea lines of communication," said Ng Eng Hen, Singapore's Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defense.
