Singaporeans Urged to Reach out to New Immigrants

Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew on Sunday stressed the importance for Singaporeans to reach out to new immigrants and help them integrate into local society.
Speaking at the "Making Singapore Home" seminar, which was organized by local Chinese newspaper Lianhe Zaobao, Lee said that Singaporeans must extend an open arm to new immigrants to help them be a part of the city state, which now has a population of about 4.84 million people, local media reported.
