Singaporean Gets 18 Years in Indonesia Terror Plots

A man accused of masterminding the attacks of a Palembang terrorist group has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Mohammad Hasan bin Saynudin, alias Fajar Taslim, was charged with involvement in the killing of a Christian high school teacher in Palembang, South Sumatra Province, and with planning to carry out murders and bombings elsewhere in Indonesia.
He has also said he and others plotted to hijack a plane and crash it into Singapore's Changi International Airport in 2001.
