Singapore refuses euthanasia meeting

Police in Singapore have refused permission for a meeting on voluntary euthanasia law reform planned by Exit International, a group founded by Australian euthanasia advocate Philip Nitschke.
Dr Nitschke said the meeting had been initially approved to take place on May 13 at the city state's national library, but police had made a decision on Wednesday not to issue a licence for the gathering.
