Singapore students get a flavour of Tamil culture

CHENNAI: A group of 33 students from three schools in Singapore are in the city to get a flavour of India's rich heritage and culture. After visiting DakshinaChitra and Mahabalipuram, they are on a two-day visit to the MCC Higher Secondary School, Chetpet, where they will attend Tamil classes.
"We taught them Tamil folk dances and showed video clippings of the different kinds of dances in one of our smart classrooms.
