SINGAPORE, March 20 (Xinhua) -- The United States needs to work hard to deepen its economic engagement in Asia, a Singapore official said here on Friday.
Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang said that the Asia-Pacific has always been important to the United States and Asia's economic and strategic weight will continue to grow in the future as the world emerges from the current economic turmoil.
