SINGAPORE, March 3 (Reuters) - Singapore's purchasing managers' index, a leading indicator for manufacturing, was steady in February from the previous month but showed that the industry continued to contract for the sixth consecutive month.
The Singapore Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management said on Tuesday its purchasing managers' index stood at 45.0 in February, unchanged from January.
