SINGAPORE -(Dow Jones)- Singapore's Land Transport Authority has awarded a S$ 410.7 million rail infrastructure development contract to a joint venture between GS Engineering and Construction Corp. (006360.SE) of South Korea and Hock Lian Seng Infrastructure Ltd. of Singapore.
"Construction is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2009 and is targeted to complete in 2015," the transport authority said in a statement late Monday.
