Jeff Schwartz, former CEO of ProLogis Inc., has been named to Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s board of directors.
After leaving Denver-based ProLogis (NYSE: PLD) last November, Schwartz co-founded and became chairman of Global Logistics Properties (GLP) of Singapore, as reported March 11 by DenverBusinessJournal.com .
GLP is the new name for a ProLogis company called ProLogis Asian Operations, and has teamed with GIC Real Estate Pte. Ltd. of Singapore to operate ProLogis’ Chinese and part of its Japanese holdings.
