Singapore-based DBS Bank said it was planning to open three more branches in India this calendar year. The bank, which started its operations in India in 1994, has seven branches now.
“Our aim is to extend the network of branches and increase customer base in India. As part of this, we are opening three new branches shortly — one each in Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), Salem (Tamil Nadu) and Surat (Gujarat),” said Sanjiv Bhasin, chief executive officer, DBS India.
