KUALA LUMPUR: Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of WCT Bhd after disposing of 253,400 shares on Jan 9.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed the Singapore fund’s stake was reduced to 4.99% or 38.52 million shares after the disposal of the stake. The share price closed at RM1.17 on that day.
WCT share price plunged from RM1.83 on Jan 5 to a low of RM1.13 on Jan 8 following the cancellation of the Dubai racecourse project.
