SINGAPORE, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Singapore will bring forward the release of industrial production data for December to Jan. 21 so that it will be available before the annoncement of its fiscal budget, the Economic Development Board said on Thursday.
The government will announce its budget for the fiscal year beginning in April on Jan. 22, instead of in late February which is the usual practice, as it wants to introduce measures to help the country cope with a deepening recession.
