SINGAPORE, Jan 16 (Bernama) -- Muslims here were today urged to contribute to a special fund to help Palestinians who are victims of Israeli assault on Gaza.
The call was made at all mosques is this island state during the sermons before Friday prayers.
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) has formed the Rahmatan Lil Alamin (Blessings-to-All) Committee to coordinate the donation drive for the Special Collection for Humanitarian Relief Effort in Gaza.
