Singapore´s good class bungalow´s (GCB) market took a beating in 2008 with 49 transactions worth S$785 million recorded compared to 87 and 119 units sold in 2007 and 2006 respectively, according to CBRE.
While the number of transactions have fallen, prices of GCBs have grown 64 percent over the past two years.
