Singapore’s leading commercial broadcaster, MediaCorp, has decided to group all of its various onlilne and mobile properties under a new unit, Interactive Media Division (IMD).
Establishing the unit would “sharpen MediaCorp’s efforts in the new media space, capitalizing on growing interest among users and advertisers,” the company said. It is a third business cluster for MediaCorp, which also has a television unit (Channels 5, 8, U and Channel NewsAsia, among others) and a news/radio/print unit.
