MARINE fuel sales in Singapore slumped 5.1% in December 2008, recording its second consecutive month of decline and the largest percentage fall last year according to recent government data, as slowing economies sapped trading activity.
Bunker sales were expected to decline further this year as the credit crisis and weak global growth crunched up shipping demand, traders said.
