Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Anti-government protesters in Thailand said they will end their blockade of Bangkok’s two main airports today, after a court forced out Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat and dissolved the ruling party.
The eight-day siege paralyzed Thailand’s tourism industry in its peak season, stranding as many as 400,000 travelers.
Officials will begin inspecting systems at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi international airport today, aviation officials said after the People’s Alliance for Democracy agreed to lift the blockade.
