Dec. 18 (Bloomberg) -- SingTel Optus Pty may work with Huawei Technologies Co., a Chinese telecommunications equipment maker, to help build Australia’s nationwide Internet network if it wins the tender, the Australian newspaper said, without citing anyone.
Optus emerged as the frontrunner in the tender to build the high-speed network after the government rejected Telstra Corp.’s bid, the newspaper said.
