SINGAPORE—Singapore’s insurance market is well-capitalized and has withstood worldwide financial turmoil in good shape, the Monetary Authority of Singapore says in a recent report.
Capital adequacy ratios for general and life insurers are well above minimum regulatory requirements, the authority said in its recently released “Financial Stability Review.”
