SINGAPORE (AP) — Singapore's inflation rate eased in October thanks to lower gasoline prices, according to data released Monday by the country's statistics department.
The consumer price index in October gained 6.4 percent from the same month last year, following a 6.7 percent year-on-year increase in September. Inflation reached a 26-year high in June at 7.5 percent.
