SINGAPORE, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Singapore's finance minister said on Friday that the government had no plans to cut the country's goods and services tax, or GST, and would instead focus on more targeted policies to help its economy.
'We do not intend to cut the GST,' Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam told journalists. '(We will) rather provide more targeted assistance to those who need it the most.'
