BEIJING, Nov 20, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- DEVBY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- DBS Bank (China) Ltd. yesterday put its new branch into operation in Beijing, signaling that its parent Development Bank of Singapore (DBS Bank) actively extends reaches to China, in spite of the financial crisis worldwide.
This Singaporean lender set foot in China as early as 1993, and nearly 14 years later, it incorporated the subsidiary, DBS Bank (China), in Shanghai. Presently, DBS Bank has much confidence in the Chinese financial market, and it is expected to make more investments here in the upcoming several months, said the CEO, Richard Stanley.
