(RTTNews) - The unemployment rate in Singapore held steady at 2.2 percent in the third quarter of 2008, the Ministry of Manpower said on Friday in a preliminary report.
Estimates show that employment grew by 57,800 in the third quarter - lower than the gains of 71,400 in the preceding quarter and 58,600 in the third quarter of 2007.
