SINGAPORE, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Health Ministry said Tuesday that it plans to pilot a scheme to bring end-of-life planning into nursing homes early next year.
Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan revealed this during Tuesday morning's opening of the Lien Center for Palliative Care.
"This aims to provide nursing home residents with a holistic care plan that fully respects their wishes for end-of-life care. This will be done sensitively as discussion on death is never easy."
