Singapore c.bank says taken no exceptional measures

SINGAPORE, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Singapore's central bank said on Tuesday it had not taken any exceptional measures as it reiterated its financial system and money markets remained stable, and said it was monitoring measures taken elsewhere.

"Financial institutions here are sound and operating normally. Our domestic Singapore dollar money and foreign exchange market have been calm and banks have been able to obtain funding in the interbank market," the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said in a statement.
