Infrastructure services company United Group Ltd has secured a 27-year, $100 million contract to provide facilities maintenance and operation management for the new Institute of Technical Education College West in Singapore.
The news sent the company's shares 48 cents, or 3.66 per cent, higher to $13.60 at 1155 AEST after hitting a high of $13.89.
Construction of the new college, a public-private partnership, is scheduled for completion in July 2010.
