Singapore sends landing ship tank to Gulf region

SINGAPORE, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- A Singapore Navy Landing Ship Tank (LST) left the country's Changi naval base early Saturday for the Gulf region to support the multi-national reconstruction efforts in Iraq.
