SINCE the establishment of the Singapore embassy in Doha in December 2006 and the Qatar embassy in Singapore in October 2007, business relations between the two countries have been growing rapidly, the head of the Singaporean mission said yesterday.The value of bilateral trade increased from QR11.2bn in 2006 to QR18bn in 2007, a growth of 37%, charge d’affaires Umej Singh Bhatia said.
