Countering soaring inflation should continue to be the main objective for the Singapore government, the International Monetary Fund said on Wednesday, in the face of the current slowing of the global economy.
The Singapore central bank has been tightening its monetary policy for nearly a year, in the face of a jump in inflation triggered by rising food and oil prices.
