(NYSE: CEA, SEHK: 0670, and SHSE: 600115) today announced that it would continue its plan to introduce renowned global airline companies as its strategic partners.
China Eastern Airlines, the third largest airline company in China, reported a net loss of CNY 3.31 billion in 2006. The company, which mainly attributed the net loss to weak management ability, made a decision to introduce some world-class airline companies as its strategic investors in 2007, an effort to achieve a financial turnaround.
