One of the Black Creek Group LLC’s companies, Mexico Retail Properties, has received an undisclosed amount of capital for growth from CIG Real Estate of Singapore.
Black Creek, based in Denver, is a private equity firm that manages several real estate operating companies with combined assets of more than $6 billion. Those companies, in addition to shopping center owner Mexico Retail Properties (MRP), include industrial real estate investment trust (REIT) DCT Industrial Trust Inc. (NYSE: DCT) of Denver, Black Creek Golf and Black Creek Communities, which develops and buys apartment and retail properties.
