Asian governments plan to woo investors for an ambitious rail project linking Singapore and Kunming in southern China early next year, their economic ministers and officials said Friday.
A conference and exhibition on the project will be held in Malaysia on Nov. 22 to "publicize, promote and attract investments for the Singapore-Kunming Rail Link in early 2009," they said in statement after an ASEAN-Mekong Basin Development Cooperation Ministerial Meeting in Singapore.
