14 per cent growth of Indian tourists to Singapore

COIMBATORE: Indian tourists inflow into Singapore has witnessed a 14 per cent growth during 2007 while the global visitor arrivals to the city-state crossed the 10 million mark, according to a senior official of the Singapore Tourism Board.

With 7.49 lakh tourists from the country visiting Singapore last year, India remained the fourth largest source of tourists, Kiran Bhandari, Area Director, Southern India, Sri Lanka and Maldives of the Board, told reporters last night here.
