Singapore Offers S$1 Million Reward to Catch Terror Suspect

July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Singapore will offer a S$1 million ($740,000) cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of suspected terrorist leader Mas Selamat Kastari, who escaped from a detention center five months ago.

The Ministry of Home Affairs will manage the bounty, which is being funded by two private individuals, according to an e-mailed statement by the ministry received today. The government said the two individuals want to remain anonymous.
