SINGAPORE has delayed the implementation of new pilotage procedures as shipping companies have requested more time.
New pilotage procedures designed to combat delays and shortages of pilots by increasing the efficiency of the systems was to have been introduced on July 1 by sole pilotage provider PSA Marine. This has now been put back a month to August 1.
