VETERAN ABC journalist Peter Lloyd has been freed on bail after being charged with drug offences in Singapore.
The Australian faced Singapore's subordinate courts and was released after a friend posted a surety of $45,000.
Before his release from custody, he faced a 10-minute court hearing wearing an orange shirt, his gaze fixed on the magistrate throughout the hearing.
