SINGAPORE (Thomson Financial) - Singapore received a record 826,000 tourists in April, up 0.8 percent from a year ago, the Singapore Tourism Board said on Tuesday.
The average hotel room rate jumped 32.5 percent to S$254 ($187), although the average occupancy rate dropped 1.0 percentage point to 84 percent.
