SINGAPORE, May 26 (Reuters) - Singapore's April factory production slid at its sharpest rate since records started in 1983 as drugs and tech output fell, providing fresh signs of slowing global demand and raising fears over weaker Singapore growth.
Trade-dependent Singapore's output slumped 16.2 percent after seasonal adjustments from March, missing even the most bearish of economists' forecasts, data showed on Monday. Six economists forecast output would fall a seasonally adjusted 3.55 percent.
