Net 4 India Ltd has informed the BSE that its wholly owned subsidiary Net 4 Singapore Pte Ltd, has been awarded with the Service Based Operator (SBO) licence in Singapore.
Under the licence, the company will now be able to provide a range of enhanced retail and wholesale VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services.
The new division head, quartered in Singapore, will primarily manage the companies international wholesale VoIP business.
Net 4 also has plans to establish a new PoP (Point of Presence) in Singapore for VoIP-related services that includes International Calling Card Service (ICC), Toll Free Services, IP Telephony Services. The subsidiary will also be in a position to provide VPN Voice/data network services.
