SINGAPORE: Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings has set up a subsidiary to invest in 'energy exploration and development'.
The newly created Orchard Energy Pte Ltd., was incorporated in June as an indirect wholly owned unit of Temasek, according to filings with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore.
Temasek has also invested a paid-up capital of S$5 million (US$3.7 million) in the new subsidiary, according to the filing.
