SINGAPORE, Apr 02, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- -- Singapore's Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) fell to 49.4 points in March from 50.3 points in February, showing the first contraction in the manufacturing sector in nine months, the Singapore Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management said Wednesday.
