For a record 22 years in a row, Singapore Changi Airport has been named Best Airport - Asia at the 22nd Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards held in Singapore on 22 April 2008.
The award is a result of an annual reader survey conducted by Cargonews Asia magazine, an established freight and logistics publication in the region.
Changi beat two other finalists – Hong Kong International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport to clinch this award.
The AFSCA awards honour outstanding freighters and winners for demonstrating leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability.
The votes were cast by decision makers who operate the logistics and cargo supply chains in the Asia Pacific region.
