Johor To Lend Muscle To Singapore Police To Track Down Alleged Militant Leader

JOHOR BAHARU, March 3 (Bernama) -- While Singapore police have launched a manhunt for an alleged militant leader who escaped from custody, its Johor counterpart will lend its muscle to track down the suspect.

Mas Selamat Kastari, 47, alleged leader of the republic's Jemaah Islamiah (JI), is believed to be in hiding in Singapore after escaping from a high-security prison last Wednesday.
